Heidelberg 6-color CD-102 presses with in-line tower coaters

Winston Packaging uses the 40-inch width as its standard format from pre-press through die-cutting. Multiple presses allow for scheduling flexibility which is critical in meeting tight cycle times without compromising quality. Using Heidelberg’s sophisticated color management system to link pre-press with the presses, set-up times are minimized and so is paperboard waste. This system makes matching critical brand colors throughout the pressrun much simpler along with repeating the process on future runs. The complete history of the pressrun is documented and used as part of our quality system’s current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP) to guarantee color consistency.
